AIFB Expands International Cooperation: Memorandums Signed with Leading Islamic Finance Institutions

The Association of Islamic Finance and Business (AIFB) continues to strengthen international cooperation and promote the development of Islamic finance in Kazakhstan.

As part of this effort, AIFB has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with several leading international institutions in the field of Islamic banking and finance, including the Participation Banks Association of Türkiye (TKBB), Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), AlHuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics (AlHuda CIBE), and the Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Nigeria (IBFIN).

The signed agreements aim to enhance professional collaboration, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best international practices, and support the implementation of joint initiatives in the field of Islamic finance.

The cooperation will focus on:

- organising joint educational programmes, training sessions and certification initiatives;

- exchanging expertise and analytical insights;

- holding international events such as forums, conferences and roundtables;

- supporting the development of the Islamic finance ecosystem in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The signing of these memorandums marks an important step in expanding AIFB’s global partnership network and contributes to Kazakhstan’s integration into the international Islamic finance industry.

AIFB will continue to actively develop strategic partnerships and promote Islamic finance as a sustainable and ethical financial system.
